Editing logs within Geotab may be necessary if a driver forgot to logout–so a driver may show "On Duty" for several days in a row, even though they were on rest days. This method allows them to edit logs from the last week (cycle), but going back any further than that would require dispatcher/support assistance.


Step-by-step guide

  1. After logging in and realizing the error, on the Dashboard, select HOS
    .

  2. Select Logs to view log history
    .

  3. Double check on the logs history to verify which Date, Time, and Vehicle is affected. Then press the Plus button in the top right-hand corner.
  4. Go through Status, Date, and Vehicle by pressing each Select button
    .

  5. Then Add an annotation..., and select Add
    .

  6. The log history will then be updated with the corrected log; use Verify to approve the changes.
