Petrosight Release Notes - Version 2026.24

Modified on Thu, 17 Sep at 12:45 PM

This release enhances schematic accuracy and clarity, improves reporting reliability, and expands internal import capabilities.

  • Improved schematics with automatic perforation flagging when cement crosses perforations, helping clearly identify isolated zones.
  • Added support for perf‑level abandonment methods (e.g., cement squeeze, casing patch) without requiring full interval abandonment.
  • Introduced “Tubing‑Liner” behavior using a hang depth field to better model packer‑hung tubing configurations for regulatory compliance (e.g., Colorado).
  • Updated schematics to display actual historical dates for perforations and abandonments instead of generic labels.
  • Fixed an issue where rig release dates changed incorrectly across PDF exports of daily reports.
