Enhancements

There are limited changes in the release this week because the team is hard at work creating a new advanced dispatch board feature.  The advanced view enables dispatchers to see shift and load level loaded miles, deadhead miles, variances, % of loaded to total and estimated times. This will be a great tool for dispatchers to identify inefficiencies in a driver's shift.

Mobile (Legacy App Users Only)

Please note: Customers Using the new Mobile APP – This feature is not currently available. But will become available in the near future. 

• Hazardous Navigation is now available on the App.  
  • To turn the feature on, go to Setup > Definitions > Commodities, select the Commodity and turn the Hazmat Route flag on and define the Appropriate substances.

• NOTE: Best practice is for Drivers to complete the download of the “Here WeGo Maps and Navigation App” when in a strong cell signal area. 
• Once completed, for drivers to be able to utilize this feature, they will need to download “Here WeGo Maps and Navigation App” from Google Play or if you are using an MDM, please add "Here WeGo Maps and Navigation App" so your drivers can access it. 

• If "Here WeGo Maps and Navigation App" is NOT installed, when drivers click navigate, it will ask the driver to select their default Map App. If Here WeGo is NOT installed, the driver will see a button to Install Here WeGo For Trucking Routing.  The driver should click Install and this will open up Google Play.

• Driver should click Install within Google Play

• Driver should click Open within Google Play

• Driver should click Next within Here WeGo App

• When Here App requests for location access, driver should click While Using the App

• Driver can select either option for sharing traffic information

• Driver can select either option for improve the App and location information

• Once all steps above are completed, driver should go back to PakTransport and click navigation button again.  This time they will see Here WeGo App as an option to select.  Once they select this it will become their default option.

• When Here WeGo launches it will NOT allow the driver to select from multiple routes.  It will provide the hazmat route to the driver, and the driver can click navigate to get voice command turn by turn directions.

• A new feature has been added to prevent drivers from being able to see future loads on the tablet.  On Setup > Admin > Company tab a new feature flag has been added named “Allow Driver To See Future Loads”.  By default this feature is turned On. 
• If user turns this feature off, then it will update all drivers on Setup > Driver screen so they cannot see future loads on tablet. 
• Users can also update this feature flag for specific drivers on Setup > Driver screen.

API

Bugs/Issues

• On inbound ticket API, 3rd party Gross Barrels, GSV and Net Barrels were getting reset to 0 if an update was made to a ticket but these fields were not being updated.  This issue has been resolved. 
• On Load > Manage Load screen, when Dispatcher was copying and pasting Confirmation #s into multiple loads if the user did not click tab on the last one it would generate a unique Confirmation # vs the one the User Pasted in.  This issue has been resolved
• On Review > Fuel, the cost column in the grid was showing blank.  This issue has been resolved
• On Setup > Admin > Company tab, when a user updates the auto drop load on load creation features, it was not feeding down to the driver level if the driver level was not locked.  This issue has been resolved
