Tickets are printing too small or text is overlapping/compressed. Below is an example from a Cognitive Printer.
If text is too small, this printer may be paired as a 3 inch, but it is actually larger. When attempting a pair/repair, uncheck 3 inch printer.
Remove the paper and rub along the metal band that pushes the paper, ensuring it is not dirty or damaged. Re-install paper.
Conduct a test print by turning the printer off, hold the feed button and turn on the power again. If the test print looks like the one above, the hardware may be faulty.
If you suspect a hardware issue, connect the tablet to another printer to first ensure the issue is hardware related and not software related.
