Once a user has built their rate sheet fields and templates under the setup > definitions > forms and fields section, they will now need to apply these rate sheet templates/layouts to an Account, Driver, Scenario, Pickup and/or Drop Off. Once a rate sheet is applied to a scenario, pickup and/or drop off, the system will AUTO rate the tickets once the data is received back from the tablet.

  1. Go to Finance Tab > Rate Sheet
  2. To create a new rate sheet, on the right hand side Click New.
    1. To edit an already created rate sheet, search for rate sheet on left hand side, select rates sheet and on right hand side Click edit.  
  3. Enter in a Rate Sheet Name, add a commodity, select which rate sheet template/layout you are going to use for this rates sheet and fuel surcharge area.
  4. Select accounts, account districts, product types, drivers this rate sheet will apply too.
  5. Adjust date range for when rates sheet applies by clicking Add/Edit button
  6. Modify Rate Sheet Values/Calculations
    1. In Section 1, modify rate sheet field default values and/or calculations if they vary from the rate sheet template values/calculations
    2. In Section 2, manually click Add Row to add a loaded mile rate sheet range or click Import to import rate sheet from excel
      • For import, please follow these instructions
        • In row 1(header row), Column A = From, Column B = To and Column C is rate
        • In row 2 thru XXX include your mileage ranges and rates.  Start with 0.  Sample below.
          • Note...Paste Special Values all data(no formulas)
    3. In Section 3, manually click Add Row to add a reject mile rate sheet range or click Import to import rate sheet from excel
        • For import, please follow these instructions
          • In row 1(header row), Column A = From, Column B = To and Column C is rate
          • In row 2 thru XXX include your mileage ranges and rates.  Start with 0.  Sample below.

    4. In Section 4, manually click Add Row to add a fuel surcharge diesel price range or click Import to import fuel surcharge rate sheet from excel
      • For import, please follow these instructions
        • In row 1(header row), Column A = From, Column B = To and Column C is Fuel Surcharge %
        • In row 2 thru XXX include your diesel price ranges and rates.  Start with 0.  Sample below.
          • Note...Paste Special Values all data(no formulas)
  7. Select which Scenarios, Pickups or Drop offs this rates sheet will apply too.(This Step is Critical)
    1. On the far right hand select +/- button to choose scenarios
    2. Scenarios or Pickup or Drop offs will be filtered based upon Account and/or Account District selected
    3. Move scenarios/pickups/drop offs from Unselected Grid(left hand side) to Selected Grid(right hand Side)
    4. Click Done
  8. Modify Rate Sheet at Scenario, Pickup or Drop Off Level
    • Users have the ability to modify rate sheets at scenario, pickup or drop off level in "one-off" negotiating situations

    1. Double click on scenario, pickup or drop off
    2. Modify dates, rate sheet field values or calculations, loaded mile rate sheet, reject mile rate and/or fuel surcharge rate sheet
    3. Click Save New Rate to create a new rate sheet or click cancel to back out of changes.
