After logging in, a driver may be unable to locate their truck from the auto populated list on Geotab.


  • Although this field usually populates, a driver can search for the truck/trailer name by selecting the search bar and typing in a name.
  • Use the back button on the tablet to remove the keyboard after searching, because this can cover up the populated list and cause the driver confusion.
  • If a truck/vehicle/trailer is not listed, a driver may not have access to it. A dispatcher can add permissions, or a support team member can go to setup>driver>trucks and trailers assigned.
  • It is also possible that a Geotab may not be installed in this truck (the truck could be a spare), or may not be properly installed (this would usually result in a red signal error across the top of the screen).
