Unable to Charge: Tablet Drained to 0% and is not Charging

Problem

The Android Tablet's power was drained to 0% and is not charging anymore

Solution

Note: Android Tablets have a lithium ion battery.

First, try to charge the tablet with its original power adapter; because the voltage is higher, it may be enough to start up the tablet.

If this doesn't work, connect the tablet to a computer via USB cable, and wait for the tablet to charge to 5%. At this point, it should charge normally through a cigarette adapter again.
